Never take the wrong end of the train again! Alight exactly @ the exit you need.

First Off The Tube helps you board the Tube, Overground, and the DLR in order to be closest to your exits and interchanges at the chosen station. It incorporates a detailed database of each and every exit and interchange found on the Tube system and works perfectly well while youre underground as it needs no internet connection or GPS information. You can search by line, or just by the station name to find the station youre looking for.The app also provides information on the closest stations to a number of Londons tourist attractions.PERMISSIONS: needs access to the files ("media") -- the actual data is stored in SQLite db files inside the app which need accessing, otherwise it wont work.KNOWN ISSUES: None at the moment. ps.: if you have queries as to how to use the app or comments, do drop me an email, especially before leaving negative feedback. Thank you.v1.33: Updates to the (rather pointless) file handling changes forced by Android 11. Unfortunately this may mean a loss of favourites upon the first launch. Should be okay afterwards.

Love it... Wish the TFL rail line was on it too though.

Great app really helpful and easy to use

Harry trains37

Very helpful for avoiding crowded platforms and delays when alighting. Highly recommended!

James Barrowman

A little clumsy looking but excellent information. One thing that could.be improved is knowing which direction the trains come from at your initial station. If I know I have to get on car 8, for example, i don't necessarily know whether to go to the far left or far right of the platform.

Great app. Would be good to add tfl rail / Elizabeth line to it too.

Straightforward, effective, essential.

Simple, straightforward, takes seconds to learn and quick to use, and works offline. I agree that it has some failings which could be improved, but as for all the harsher reviews - really?? If you don't know which direction you're going in, should you really be out on your own? When I got a new phone and reported that the app didn't work on it the developer responded within hours and fixed it within days. Super satisfied 😃

Easy to use and helpful app

Some reviews too harsh. This is easy to use. Yes, you need to know if you're arriving in the station from N,S,E or West but TBH, most people know that. The information is v rigorous. App works just fine and is worth £1.19 for sure.

I use it regularly. Data can get out of date (ie Bond Street during its renovations) but it's usually spot on. The UI has a couple of annoyances, such as switching to another app and back causes the app to reset, losing the results.
